Is the profession of photography at parties and weddings forbidden (haram) or permissible (halal)?

Photographing wedding parties has two scenarios: The first is photographing women, which is forbidden, whether the photographer is a man, due to his exposure to women's awrah (intimate parts), or a woman, due to the possibility of men viewing the photos. The second is limiting photography to men, regarding which scholars have differed on its prohibition, and refraining from it is safer. It should not be a profession for earning a livelihood, because the money earned from it is questionable.
