هل وردت مقولة "لا تعطَ الإمارة لطالبها" كحديث نبوي أم قول لأحد؟

In the Two Sahihs, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to Abu Musa and two men from his people who sought leadership: "Indeed, we do not appoint to this position one who asks for it, nor one who is eager for it." And in a narration by Muslim: "We do not employ for our work one who desires it."
