What is the ruling on working as a welder for tanks used to store wine?
It is not permissible to work in welding tanks that contain intoxicating wine or that will lead to intoxication, as this constitutes cooperation in sin and aggression. Allah Almighty says: (And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty).
