What is the ruling on intentionally praying behind someone who abandons an obligatory duty out of ignorance?

If the Imam omits one of the obligatory acts of prayer out of ignorance—such as the transition takbir or tasbeeh—then his prayer for himself is valid, and it is permissible to intentionally follow him, and prayer behind him is valid. An obligatory act omitted out of ignorance is like one omitted out of forgetfulness. The Imam should be advised gently and informed of what he is unaware of.
