What is the ruling on adopting the fatwa that impurity becomes pure if it dries by the wind and its substance vanishes, in the case of sewage water seeping onto the living room carpet and making it impure? And what is the ruling concerning the drying of blood in the mouth, and madhy (pre-seminal fluid) and semen mixed with madhy on the bedding; does that purify them?

Dismiss these obsessive thoughts and pay them no mind. There is no certainty regarding the impurity of water that falls onto the carpet, as its default state is purity. There is no need to rule that things become pure through dryness, because they were not originally ruled impure. You may adopt the view of those who do not consider impurity to transfer, and the one afflicted with obsessive thoughts is permitted to follow the easiest opinions to alleviate hardship. A small amount of blood is excused; if its presence in the mouth is confirmed, it should be rinsed. A small amount of madhi (pre-ejaculatory fluid) is excused according to some scholars. Nothing becomes pure through dryness except for the earth and what is permanently attached to it. Turning away from obsessive thoughts and accepting the leniency regarding small amounts of impurities will remove these obsessive thoughts.
