What is the meaning of Abu Sulayman's saying: "No one misses congregational prayer except due to a sin"?

Calamities may be a punishment for sins, including deprivation of acts of obedience or forgetting knowledge, as Allah Almighty said: "And whatever strikes you of disaster - it is because of what your hands have earned, and He pardons much." The punishment for each servant is where it becomes most severe for them, such as deprivation of worldly or otherworldly sustenance. Deprivation of obedience is one of the effects of sins; a single sin may prevent a Muslim from many acts of obedience. This applies to one who misses congregational prayer due to their negligence and carelessness, and not to one who misses it due to an excuse.
