It is recommended for a newcomer to Mecca to begin with the circumambulation (Tawaf) upon entering the Sacred Mosque, as it is the greeting of the House for him. As for someone who is not a newcomer, the greeting of the House for him is the circumambulation if he intends it, or two rak'ahs of prayer if he does not intend the circumambulation.
