Is it permissible for a husband to steal the money of his righteous, religious wife, the mother of nine children, with whom he has grandchildren, in order to marry another woman, and what should she do if she finds out?

Theft is a major sin among the grave transgressions. There is no difference whether a man steals from his wife's money or anyone else's. If the wife becomes aware of her husband's theft, she should conceal his fault and remind him of Allah. If he repents, then all is well. Otherwise, she may refer her case to the Sharia court to remove the harm from her, bearing in mind that this might escalate the problem and could lead to divorce. Nothing from his wife's money is permissible for the husband unless it is given with her full consent. His theft from her money is forbidden. The wife is advised to act with wisdom and deliberation in handling the matter. If the husband is in need of her money for his own expenses or for the expenses of his household, she should help him.
