Does God accept the return of one who left Islam and then returned to it seeking psychological comfort and family and social harmony, not out of complete intellectual conviction?

You have not found peace after leaving Islam, not because of upbringing, but because you have gone against the call of the natural inclination (fitra) upon which Allah created mankind; for Islam is the religion of fitra. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Every child is born upon fitra, then his parents make him a Jew, or a Christian, or a Magian."
