Is it permissible to eat from utensils made of bones of unknown origin in China?

Everything slaughtered by polytheists, apart from the People of the Book, is considered carrion. As for the utilization of bones from carrion, scholars have differed on this matter. The majority of them hold the view that such bones are impure, while the Hanafis and Ibn Taymiyyah are of the opinion that they are pure. The preponderant view is that the bones of carrion, as well as its horns, hooves, hair, feathers, and fur, are pure, as the default state for them is purity, and there is no evidence for their impurity. If utensils are made from the bones of an animal slaughtered according to Islamic law (dhabiha), they are pure. However, if they are made from the bones of carrion, there is a strong difference of opinion regarding their purity, and it is more prudent for a Muslim to avoid them as a precaution for his religion, unless they are made from the ashes of carrion bones, in which case they are pure.
