The answer

The sister's husband is a non-. It is not permissible to kiss him or shake his hand, based on the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "For one of you to be stabbed in the head with an iron needle is better for him than to touch a woman who is not lawful for him." And based on the saying of Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her: "By Allah, the hand of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, never touched the hand of any woman, except that he would pledge allegiance to them with words." Islam blocks all paths leading to the unlawful. It is not correct to treat the sister's husband like a brother or a father, as the latter two are mahrams, and it is permissible to shake their hands and kiss them upon arrival, provided there is no fear of temptation. Therefore, this bad habit, which contravenes Islamic law, must be abandoned.
