How should one make the intention for Umrah on behalf of a person whose name has been forgotten years after the authorization was given?

For the 'Umrah on behalf of your principal, it is sufficient that you make the intention for 'Umrah on his behalf. It is not a condition to mention his name, for Allah does not forget. It is stated in the fatwas of the Permanent Committee that for Hajj on behalf of another, the intention is sufficient, and it is not necessary to name the person on whose behalf the Hajj is performed. A condition for you to perform Hajj on behalf of another is that you must have first performed Hajj for yourself.
