What is the evidence that the Qur’an contains healing for physical and spiritual ailments, and how is the Qur’an used in the healing of baldness?

The Quran is a cure for both physical and spiritual ailments. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to recite the Mu'awwidhat (Surahs Al-Falaq and An-Nas) upon himself and his family when ill. Ibn Al-Qayyim states that the Quran is a complete cure for all diseases of the heart and body, for anyone who uses it as a remedy with sincerity, faith, and firm acceptance. He mentioned that the Prophet's treatment involved three types: natural remedies, divine remedies, and combined remedies. He cited the Hadith of Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri regarding the healing of the stung person with Al-Fatiha, and the saying of Ali, may Allah be pleased with him: "The best medicine is the Quran." Ibn Al-Qayyim himself experienced complete healing by treating with Al-Fatiha and Zamzam water.

Some early Muslims (Salaf) permitted writing certain verses of the Quran on paper and dissolving them in water for healing. Ibn Al-Qayyim provided examples of this for treating difficult childbirth, nosebleeds, toothache, and abscesses.

There is no mention of treating baldness with the Quran. However, the Quran is a cure if there is certainty, sincerity, and reliance upon Allah Almighty, and healing comes from Allah and His will.
