The salary of a government employee is not permissible unless his appointment is in accordance with regulations, and he performs the work entrusted to him regularly; because remuneration is in exchange for work. It is not permissible to obey one's parents in taking an unlawful salary, and claiming the salary is lawful or dedicating it to one's mother does not absolve one of responsibility.
