Is it permissible to go to the company's prayer room to recite the Qur'an during idle times when there is no work, and then return to continue working? And is it permissible to leave a short while before the end of working hours to perform the Asr prayer in the neighborhood mosque, if there is no work?

The employee is a private hireling (اجير خاص), and it is not permissible for him to spend his time on anything other than work, except with the employer's permission. He may read the Quran if he has free time, provided that this does not distract him from his work. He should read in the workplace, not in the prayer room (musalla), so that work is not disrupted. It is not permissible for him to leave before the end of working hours except with the employer's permission.
