What is the ruling on prayer and how should one act who suffers from سلس (incontinence/constant discharge) and excessive wind and gases, and is confused between true سلس and obsessive doubts (وسواس), especially if his family asks him to eat and he avoids it for fear of wind?

If what you feel is a waswasah (whispering from Satan), then do not pay attention to it. If you are certain that gas has been released, and you find enough time to perform the prayer with proper purity, then wait for that time. However, if the release of gas is continuous or its cessation is unknown, then perform ablution after the time for prayer has begun and pray the obligatory prayer and as many supererogatory prayers as you wish with that ablution, without paying attention to anything that might be released from you. It is obligatory to strive against waswasah and get rid of it.
