Is the name "Yiannis" Islamic, and what does it mean?

There is no Shari (Islamic legal) objection to the aforementioned name, as it does not conflict with the Shari guidelines for names. However, it is preferable to name children with good names such as Abdullah, Abdul Rahman, and the names of the Prophets, the Companions, the Mothers of the Believers, and the daughters of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
