Should one remain silent about a quick-tempered father who mistreats his children and wife, prevents his daughter from completing her education, and does not accept advice from anyone?

The rights of parents are great in the sight of Allah Almighty. Allah has coupled the command to worship Him alone with kindness to them. One must avoid everything that causes the father's anger, and not argue with him or raise one's voice at him; rather, it is advisable to use a gentle approach. You must be dutiful towards him, and gentle in your dealings with him. If the father becomes angry without a reason, then you should do good on your part, and if advice is not beneficial, then maintain silence, and seek the help of some scholars and virtuous people to influence him.
