Is it forbidden to supplicate for someone you love, given that there is no relationship between you two?

Supplicating to Allah Almighty is one of the greatest acts of worship, provided it does not involve sin or severance of kinship ties. Supplicating for a Muslim in their absence carries immense virtue, and the angel says to the supplicant: "And to you the like of it." However, if the intended person is a foreigner, Islamic law does not condone a relationship between a man and a woman except through marriage.
