The prayer of one who lets his garment drag is valid and sufficient, whether he is an imam, a congregant, or praying alone. The reported regarding the invalidity of his prayer is not authentic. Letting one's garment drag is forbidden if done out of arrogance. If it is free from arrogance, there is a difference of opinion among scholars, but the adopted by us is that it is forbidden.
