What is Islam's argument against other religions?

Islam is the true religion that Allah accepts no other than it. It supersedes previous laws, affirming what they established and nullifying what they contradicted. Islam establishes proof for people through various rational and transmitted evidences. With the People of the Book, it presents evidence for the permissibility of abrogating previous laws, stating, "Whatever verse We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring forth [one] better than it or similar to it. Do you not know that Allah is over all things competent?" It refutes the Trinity and the divinity of Jesus and his mother by saying, "The Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a messenger; [other] messengers had passed on before him. And his mother was a Siddiqah [truthful woman]; they both used to eat food." It exposes the falsehood of the Jews and challenges them to wish for death if they are truthful in their claim that they are Allah's chosen ones, and it calls upon them to produce the Torah if they are truthful. It calls upon everyone to abandon polytheism and worship the One God, stating, "Say, 'O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you — that we will not worship except Allah and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as lords instead of Allah.'"
