Does purchasing a car with a down payment of 20,0 pounds, and depositing 20,0 pounds as a bank deposit to cover the remaining installments from its returns, fall under the forbidden usury (riba)?

This transaction is forbidden because it contains several impermissible elements:

1. Combination of Sale and a Condition that Invalidates the Price: The uncertainty in the deferred price (the remainder of the price from the profits of the twenty thousand) leads to uncertainty in the term (of payment), and knowledge of the term is a condition for the validity of the transaction, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever makes an advance payment for dates, let him make it for a known measure and a known weight until a known term." 2. Combination of Sale and Partnership/Mudarabah: The twenty thousand that is stipulated to be paid is in the nature of a partnership or Mudarabah (profit-sharing), and some scholars have prohibited the combination of sale and partnership. 3. Dealing with an Usurious Bank: If the bank is usurious, it is not permissible to deal with it or deposit money in it, as this entails approving usury and cooperating in it. Allah Almighty said: (And do not cooperate in sin and aggression).
