What is the share of each heir from the deceased's estate if he has five sons, three grandsons (sons of a son), and one granddaughter (daughter of a son)?

If the deceased has no heirs other than the direct children, then the inheritance is divided among them by ta'sib (agnatic inheritance). The grandchildren are excluded by deprivation due to the presence of the direct children, who are closer to the deceased. It is recommended for the children to give something from the inheritance to the grandchildren if the grandfather did not bequeath anything to them, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "And when [other] relatives and orphans and the needy are present at the time of division, then give them therefrom and speak to them words of appropriate kindness." The inheritance is divided among the male children according to their number, with each son receiving one share.
