Is it obligatory for the pilgrim (Mu'tamir) to visit the graves before traveling?

It is not obligatory for the ' performer to visit graves before traveling, nor after, neither in their own country nor in Makkah and Madinah. However, it is recommended to visit the grave of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and the graves of his two companions.
