What is the ruling if the one who swore an oath dies before expiating it?

The expiation for an oath (kaffarat al-yamin) that became incumbent upon the deceased before their death must be disbursed from their estate before its distribution, whether they made a will concerning it or not. This is because it is among the rights of Allah Almighty, which take precedence over the rights of human beings.
