How is a martyr shrouded?
The Sunnah is for the martyr to be buried in the clothes in which he was killed. Jurists have differed whether this matter is a recommendation (استحباب) or an obligation (وجوب). The Shafi'is and some Hanbalis held it to be a recommendation, while the Malikis and Hanbalis considered it an obligation. Scholars agreed on the obligation to remove iron and weapons from the martyr. As for furs, socks, turbans, and belts, they differed on whether to remove them; the Malikis do not see their removal as necessary, while the Hanafis, Shafi'is, and Hanbalis believe they should be removed.
