Is the fasting of a woman in puerperium valid if she fasts on the twenty-sixth day after childbirth and has made sure there is no blood?

A woman's fast is valid because there is no minimum duration for postpartum bleeding (nifas (definition)). So, when she sees purity, she should perform ghusl (definition), and she is pure. There is no specified minimum duration for nifas in Islamic law. Cases of short and long nifas have been observed, such as a woman who gave birth and did not see any blood, and a woman who gave birth at the beginning of the day and became pure at the end of it. Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "It is not permissible for a woman in nifas, once she sees purity, except that she prays."
