It is permissible for maintenance workshops to deal with insurance companies because maintenance is a permissible activity, and it is permissible to deal in permissible matters with someone whose wealth is unlawful, following the example of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his companions in their dealings with Jews and polytheists. Therefore, there is no objection to working as a manager for one of the workshops that deals with an insurance company. However, working for an insurance company itself is not permissible due to the impermissibility of commercial insurance.
