Is a husband required to divorce his wife who removes her hijab due to harassment from her family and society in a non-Islamic country, taking into consideration the fate of their shared son?

If you have a child with your wife and fear for his ruin if you divorce her, then it is advisable to be patient with her, manage her affairs, and remind her of Allah, because the harm of her abandoning the hijab is less severe than the harm of ruining the child. And the religion is built upon achieving benefits and warding off harms. So, if two benefits conflict, the higher one is pursued, and if two harms conflict, the lesser one is committed. If it is possible to move with her to another country where she would adhere to the hijab, then do so. If that does not succeed, and you are able to take the child and divorce her, then do so. And if you are unable to do any of that, then keep her and be patient with her, and repeat advising and reminding her, and seek help from those who can assist you, and increase in supplication; Allah Almighty says: (And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out).
