What is the ruling on my continuing to study at a mixed-gender university, given my parents' strong refusal for me to leave and study at home, and their desire for me to become a doctor, knowing that all universities in my country are mixed-gender?

Completing one’s studies has great benefits, among them the presence of Muslim women doctors and honoring one’s parents. The harms of mixing can be avoided by wearing the legal hijab, staying away from places of mixing, not being alone with men, adhering to Islamic guidelines in speech, and lowering one’s gaze. However, if there is a fear of temptation even after taking all precautions, then it is necessary to stop studying.
