It is not permissible to sell numbers for which the buyer receives a toy of unknown value or type for each number, because it falls under the category of (uncertainty) and (gambling) sales, which are forbidden by Islamic law and invalidate the contract. This is because among the conditions for the validity of a sale is knowledge of the item being sold and its price, and the absence of any uncertainty regarding them.
