Is it permissible to replace the corpse of a Christian with that of a Muslim when converting a cemetery from Christian to Islamic?

There is no harm in excavating the graves of polytheists and making them graves for Muslims. The graves of polytheists in the area of the Prophet's Mosque, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, were excavated, and their place was taken as a mosque.
