Who is Abul Hasan Ali Nadwi, may Allah have mercy on him?

Sheikh Abul Hasan Ali Hasani Nadwi was a divine caller to Allah and a distinguished scholar, of Arab origin and Indian nationality. He lived and worked for Islam, possessing a vibrant heart and an overflowing love for Allah and His Messenger. His creed was pure, adhering to the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah. He was preoccupied with the issues of the Ummah, the revival of Islam's civilizational message, and the rectification of the Muslim individual's understanding. The most important aspects of his intellectual and da'wah project included: deepening faith, exalting revelation, strengthening the connection with the Qur'an and Sunnah, igniting spiritual fervor, building rather than demolishing, reviving the spirit of jihad, drawing inspiration from history, critiquing Western and nationalist thought, emphasizing the finality of prophethood, resisting intellectual apostasy, clarifying the virtues of the Companions, highlighting the Palestinian cause, focusing on Islamic education, caring for childhood and youth, preparing scholars and callers to Islam (du'at), guiding the Islamic awakening and movements, and striving to call non-Muslims to Islam. Among his most important works are: "What Did the World Lose Due to the Decline of Muslims?", "The Four Pillars", and "The Prophetic Biography".
