Is it permissible for a woman to be photographed without a headscarf for any reason whatsoever, especially given that her fiancé photographed her in that manner and refused to delete the picture?
It is not permissible to photograph a woman without a if the picture will be displayed before non- men. However, if the picture is exclusively for the husband or for a mahram who is permitted to look at her, then it is permissible. If the husband is certain that no non-mahram man will see your picture, then it is permissible for him to keep it. Nevertheless, it is preferable to avoid this matter due to the possibility of a non-mahram seeing the picture. Therefore, we advise the husband to remove the picture from his phone. His anger at your request to remove the picture is not commendable; rather, he should be pleased by it and thank Allah for having a righteous wife.
