After the two rak'ahs of the Friday obligatory prayer, what is the correct number of rak'ahs for the Sunnah and supererogatory prayers that are prayed afterward?

Scholars have differed on the number of rak'ahs for the post-Jumu'ah sunnah prayer, based on the narrated hadiths. Some said two rak'ahs, some said four, some offered a choice between them, and some differentiated between praying in the mosque (four) and praying at home (two), which is what Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and the Permanent Committee for Issuing Fatwas chose. There is also an opinion that six rak'ahs are recommended. The matter in this regard is wide, and it is preferable for this prayer to be performed individually.
