What is the meaning and ruling regarding the phrase: "أسوق عليك الله" (I drive God upon you), which is commonly used to ward off the evil of a person?

One should not utter phrases that suggest a lack of reverence for Allah, and that contradict the guidance of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in supplication during fear, as he used to say: "O Allah, we place You against their throats and we seek refuge in You from their evils." Therefore, one must avoid words that might be understood as showing disrespect towards Allah.
