What is the ruling on invoking blessings upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when his noble name is mentioned during prayer, whether in Qur’anic verses such as: ﴿There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves﴾ or ﴿This is what Allah and His Messenger had promised us﴾, or when Allah, exalted be His Majesty, addresses him with His words: ﴿O Prophet, urge the believers to fight﴾?

If a worshiper recites a verse during prayer that mentions the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, or if his imam recites it, it is permissible for him to invoke blessings upon the Prophet, due to the general nature of the Prophet's saying, peace and blessings be upon him: "The miser is he before whom I am mentioned, and he does not invoke blessings upon me."
