What is the ruling on women wearing the shawl, kufiyyah, or cravat that is currently widespread among women?

The scarf worn by a woman has two scenarios: 1. It is specific to men or is worn in a manner similar to theirs. This is not permissible due to the prohibited imitation. 2. It is specific to women, or is unisex, or is worn in a manner that does not resemble men's attire. This is permissible, provided there is no other religious impediment.

As for the necktie (cravat), it is an attire specific to men, and it is not permissible for a woman to wear it. It is advisable to stay away from fashions that resemble men's clothing and to observe customs that do not contradict Islamic law.
