This narration was transmitted by Al-Hakim Al-Tirmidhi, Al-Daylami, and Al-Bayhaqi in Al-Shu'ab. Al-Bayhaqi authenticated its وقف (وقف) as a saying of Ibn Mas'ud, and he weakened its Marfu' (elevated) attribution to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Al-Albani also weakened it in Da'if Al-Jami'.
