Is it permissible to read the Quran from a mobile phone that is soiled or has been touched by an impurity from the hand, and must it be cleaned before reading from it?

There is no objection to reading the Qur’an from a mobile phone, but if there is impurity on the phone, it is not permissible to open the Mushaf (copy of the Qur'an) on it until the impurity is removed; this is out of reverence for the sacred ordinances of Allah Almighty. However, if it is merely a whisper (waswasa), one must disregard it.
