The Injil (Gospel) that Muslims believe in is a single book that Allah revealed to Isa (Jesus) son of Mary, peace be upon him. It contains guidance, light, and the Oneness of Allah Almighty, affirming what preceded it from the Torah. There is no concept in Islam of what is known as the four Gospels. As for the Gospels currently in existence, they have been distorted and include myths. They are numerous within what is known as the New Testament, among which there are four that most Christians agree upon despite their differences and contradictions. Historians have pointed out that the authors of these Gospels, and the time and manner of their writing, are unknown, which confirms the distortion of the original message of Isa, peace be upon him, which called for monotheism.
