Is it permissible to copy information from mobile phone manufacturers' websites, which state "All rights reserved," with the aim of publishing it on a technical website that profits from advertisements, knowing that these websites are the primary source of information? And is copying from these websites considered a violation of Islamic law?

Scholars have differed regarding the consideration of copyright. The relied-upon opinion for fatwa [legal verdict] with us is that copyrights are considered absolutely, whether the copying is for profit or not. Therefore, if the rights are reserved for specific websites, it is not permissible to copy phone information from them as long as there is no permission to copy it, even if attributed to its sources. The transgression of others does not make it permissible. This is in contrast to minor quotations from it.
