What is the ruling on saying: "O Allah, bestow Your prayers, peace, and blessings upon our Master Muhammad, the secret of existence and origination, and of annihilation and survival"?

The aforementioned statement contains blameworthy extremism and exaggeration. Allah Almighty created creation to be worshipped and to affirm His Oneness, not for the sake of any of His creation. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is the master of the children of Adam and the noblest of creation in the sight of Allah, but he is not the secret of existence and creation. Sheikh Ibn Baz clarified that the saying "The world was created for the sake of Muhammad" is false and has no basis, for Allah created the world to be known and worshipped alone, without any partner. The best way to send blessings upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is the Ibrahimiyyah prayer.
