How can one get rid of the affliction of sexual perversion related to the adoration of young men without distancing oneself from friends, despite frequently making supplications?

Supplication is beneficial if it fulfills the conditions for acceptance and the impediments to its rejection are removed. Increase in supplication so that Allah may help you change your situation, while also taking the necessary means.

Allah Almighty says: "Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves."

And He also says: "As for those who strive hard in Our cause, We shall surely guide them to Our paths. And verily, Allah is with the doers of good."

Therefore, strive against yourself and begin the change.
