What is the ruling on working in a stationery shop that contains photographs, anime pictures, and statues, given the availability of another source of livelihood?

Working in stationery stores and the like is permissible. Photographic images of animate beings are, in our preponderant view, permissible, and there is no harm in selling stickers and notebooks that contain them. As for anime images and similar drawings of animate beings, if they are complete, they are originally forbidden. However, it is permissible to sell them if the intention is to sell the sticker or notebook, not the images themselves. Sculptures of animate beings that are complete in their creation are not permissible to sell, except for children's toys, which are an exception.
