What is the ruling on communication between a young man and a young woman who share feelings of love but are currently unable to proceed with marriage due to study circumstances, knowing that cutting off communication causes them psychological distress and inability to focus? It is not permissible to communicate with a non- girl or to keep her picture. It is obligatory to cut off this communication. Communication with a girl is only permissible through a legitimate marriage. If you are unable to marry, then fear Allah, cut off the relationship, and occupy yourself with what benefits you in your religion and your worldly life.
