What is the ruling of the Sharia on a woman who adheres to all the rituals of religion, such as prayer, fasting, and reading the Qur’an, but is not veiled?

The hijab is an individual obligation upon the Muslim woman, with conditions including: covering the entire body, not being an adornment itself, not being transparent or tight, not resembling the dress of men or disbelieving women, not being a garment of fame, and not being perfumed. Perseverance in prayer, fasting, and reciting the Quran helps in adhering to it, for prayer forbids indecency and evil. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, warned against women who are clothed yet naked, and forbade a woman from perfuming herself so that her scent may be smelled. Therefore, one must hasten to repent.
