Is it permissible to visit Pharaonic ruins (statues and temples that were used in the worship of other than Allah) considering them a civilizational marvel?

Entering the dwellings of the perished and tormented disbelievers is not permissible except in passing, with humility and weeping, and with reflection and consideration of their fate, as a warning against suffering the like of what befell its inhabitants. As for visiting them for tourism and amusement, it is contrary to what the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded, especially given the presence of evils within them.
