Hand-drawn or sculpted images of animate beings are forbidden and fall under the texts of warning for image-makers. Three matters are excluded from this: 1. What is considered children's toys. 2. An incomplete image or statue from which what cannot sustain life has been removed, such as the head, chest, or abdomen, or if its head is separated from its body, or if it is a body without a head, or a head without a body, or if its head and the rest of its body are not in the form of an animal. 3. An image in which features such as eyes, mouth, and nose are not discernible.
It is preferable to avoid all of this and suffice with drawing that which has no soul.
