When does a woman begin her prayer at home: upon hearing the Adhan, or upon hearing "Hayya 'ala al-Salah," or after its completion?

For a prayer to be valid, its time must have begun. The beginning of the prayer time is known by observing its sign, or by the call to prayer (adhan) of a trustworthy muezzin, or by reliable calendars.

If a woman is certain that the time has begun, she may pray, and she is not required to wait for the adhan to finish. It is recommended for her to follow the adhan and repeat what the muezzin says, then supplicate with the supplications mentioned after the adhan. After that, she should perform the pre-prayer regular sunnah (ratibah), then the obligatory prayer (fard), then the post-prayer remembrances (adhkar), and finally the post-prayer sunnahs.
